Poor Matt was on call all weekend, which makes for a long weekend for all of us. Thankfully he was able to get some free time and hang out with us, it just ment that we had to stay close to home. So we decided to go on a short hike at a park that is right close to our house (10 mins away).

There is this super cool, dangerous bridge there that spans the Spokane river. The boys love seeing the water run under them through the slate in the wood. but feeling the bridge sway in the wind was a little unnerving for all of us.

The river was crazy full from all the spring melt off. Such an impressive sight.

Once on the other side, we picked a random trail and started hiking.

Here is a picture from a distant of the bridge. Note the big rock on the upper left, we climbed that and you will see pictures of that at the end of this post.

Love Andrew's "I'm too cool to smile at the camera face."

We took a little break and ate a snack outside. Everything tastes better when you eat outside in my book.

Adam was all too happy to get his picture taken. He was so excited to make this funny face.

Here we are back on the other side of the bridge and up on that rock lookout point. My nerves were getting tested today.

It was beautiful, but crazy high up there with very little to keep the kids from falling over.

Note, my death grip on the baby.
