The Spokane FIRE!

Last night Caleb had his 3rd grade Spokane History play. He was the Spokane fire! Don't we just have a wonderful camera?

He so wanted me to invite Mirna to come, and when she texted back that she would be happy to Caleb did a happy dance when I told him.

I was so worried about how to make a fire costume, but when I saw what other people had to make, like a freeway, a bridge, an ice storm and a river. I was really happy we got fire.

He was originally asked by his teacher to have one of the biggest parts, Narrator, but he turned it down saying he was just too nervous. Matt and I both agree he would have done a great job at it, I think he just wanted a cool costume instead.

Gracie loves Mirna!

So do all the kids.

Here is Caleb with his good friend who was the Spokane River, again, so happy we got fire.

Sweet Aubrey, The Centenial Trail, was so worried about getting burned by the Fire.

And finally Drew and Caleb, so happy he has such a good friend in his class, it has made all the difference this year.

My second grader told me all about this big play and how she hopes she gets to do it next year. His costume looks great!
